About Quota International and Quota International of Valdosta
Wanda Frey Joiner, the founder of Quota International, Inc. coordinated the efforts to form the club after attending a Kiwanis Christmas "ladies night" party in 1919. The founding club in Buffalo, NY, began with five members. Quota International, Inc. currently has 7400 members in more than 325 clubs which operate in 14 countries.

Quota International of Valdosta currently meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Holiday Inn on Hwy 84 at 1 p.m. for lunch. Click here for meeting schedule and click here to contact us. Meetings last approximately one hour, during which we typically have a guest speaker as well as cover the business matters of the club.  Our members need to attend at least 8 meetings per year. We close each meeting with our "collect," which is:
Quench in our hearts, O Lord, all fires of selfishness.
Unfold to us the joys of true friendship.
Open our minds to a better understanding of service.
Teach us the real
meaning of sharing.
And help us to hold high those principals of Quota for which we stand.

Quota's current fundraising projects are the Taste of Valdosta, Holiday Gift Wrap at the Mall and Valdosta's Got Talent.  Community projects have included providing hearing aids for children in need, Community Wide Baby Shower, a blood drive, painting at the Methodist Home for Children and many more.
